Site clearance for the new Aberdeen Western Peripheral Route
In March 2015 Allisons were awarded a contract by AWPR to carry out Site Clearance for the new Aberdeen Western Peripheral Route.

The Aberdeen Western Peripheral (AWPR) is a new 46km long dual carriageway which will run from the North of Aberdeen to the South. It will significantly improve travel in and around Aberdeen and the North Each of Scotland by reducing congestion, journey times and improving safety. The project has been divided into three sections – North, Central and South.
Allisons are currently carrying out the following in the Centre and South sections of the new Aberdeen bypass project: The following new gates were also installed:
- Tree felling
- Root removal
Result / Technical Details:
Using our specialist machinery including our tractor with forestry mulcher and chipper, tracked skid steer with forestry mulcher and excavator with stump shear we have been able to carry out site clearance at numerous locations throughout the AWPR site.
