During the record breaking high winds hitting Scotland in December 2011, fallen trees & large bushes played havoc for road users. Allison Enterprises offered assistance to Perth & Kinross Council to help cope with the demand for emergency tree clearance works. Due to the success of the operation Perth and Kinross Council once again called upon Allison’s when storms hit the area in December 2013.

Overall Project:

Due to the high winds, numerous roads in the Perth & Kinross area were impassible due to fallen trees and bushes leading to travel disruption throughout the area. As the winds continued more blocked roads were reported. Play parks and other public areas were also affected.

Services Provided:

Allison personnel were put on 24hr alert and responded when called upon by the Council who gave each job a priority rating. Trees were cleared using fully trained and equipped personnel complete with forklift to remove larger branches and trees.

Result / Technical Details:

Due to the excellent organisation and efficiency of our team the operation ran smoothly and all call outs were answered in a timely fashion.
